Associate Lawyer - Litigation
Job Description:
Monteith Ritsma Phillips Professional Corporation is currently seeking an Associate Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team. This is a position for an ambitious lawyer with 3 to 5 years of experience in litigation. The firm is looking for an self-starter with an entrepreneurial outlook and a demonstrated background in administrative law.
To be the successful candidate you will:
• Be a member in good standing with the Ontario Bar
• Have 3 to 5 or more years of litigation experience
• Having experience in administrative law is an asset
• Having experience with AFRAAT and/or LPAT proceedings is an asset
• Have a strong academic background
• Portray a professional manner in communicating with others
• Have strong organization and teamwork skills
• Be able to multi-task
