Legal Assistant - Corporate

Stratford or Listowel Office

Are you a recent graduate of a Legal Assistant Program that has an interest in Corporate Law? This entry-level position is for you!

To support firm and client success, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation of corporate documents such as articles of incorporation, amalgamations, amendments, revivals, dissolutions, continuances, and extra-provincial registrations;

  • Review and update minute books;

  • Draft agreements and provide supporting documents relating to corporate and tax reorganizations.


To be the successful candidate you will have:

  • Recently graduated a Legal Assistant course, or have a background in law;

  • Strong interest to learn corporate law;

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; editing, reviewing, drafting and proofreading of legal documents; 

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn technology easily;

  • An interest in taking your law career to the next level and support the success of an established, successful and dynamic law practice;

  • Strong organizational and time management and ability to take on accountability for deadlines and client service;

  • An independent worker, resourceful, reliable, professional, a multi-tasker, and a team player.
