Matthew Orchard

Matthew Orchard is a partner with Monteith Ritsma Phillips Professional Corporation. He has a solicitor’s practice focused on business law, real estate law, wills and estates and employment law.

Matthew serves a diverse base of clients in a wide range of industries including individuals, small businesses and financial institutions. He also specializes in providing advice to not-for-profit and charitable organizations.

​

Matthew graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa law school with an LL.B. in June, 2010 and subsequently completed his articles of clerkship at Monteith Ritsma Phillips Professional Corporation. He was called to the Bar of Ontario and became an Associate Lawyer with the firm in June, 2011.

Matthew had previously obtained an Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario in 2007.

​

Matthew is a Director and currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the United Way Perth-Huron and is also a Member of Stratford Rotaract.

​

Matthew and his wife Amy, a nurse at the Stratford General Hospital, are both Stratford natives. His hobbies include soccer, running, and, when he gets the chance, travelling.
